Mediate Srl. – spin-off company of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna – was established with the aim of bringing to the market revolutionary techological and scientific advancements in collaborative and industrial robotics. Mediate comes from a high-level worldwide recognized research institute – the BioRobotics Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna – and it is composed by a multidisciplinary team with horizontal competences

Paolo Dario, with over thirty years of experience in multi-million European and National Projects, is Scientific Advisor and Co-Founder of Mediate Srl and Professor of Biomedical Robotics at the BioRobotics Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna

Gastone Ciuti

Gastone is co-founder, scientific advisor and member of the board of directors of Mediate Srl. Gastone has a background on medical and collaborative robotics, a PhD in BioRobotics and he is Associate Professor of Bioengineering at the BioRobotics Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna.

Marco Dal Canto
Chief Executive Officer

Marco is Biomedical Engineer working at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna as a research fellow. He joined Mediate srl, working as mechatronics engineer in different Industry 4.0 projects and gives his contribution on PCB design and HMI development.

Andrea Firrincieli
Chief Technical Officer of Mediate Robotics

Andrea is an Aerospace Engineer, starting with FEA and design of light-weight composite structures. He translated his expertise in medical and robotics fields. Andrea try to overcome the gap between research and industry, using his problem-solving attitudes with a practical approach on the study, design, development and creation of new medical and robotics devices and platforms

Marcello is a Biomedical/Robotic engineer actively working in collaborative robotics in both medical and industrial scenarios. His experience paves the way to the development of novel technologies and robotics human-centered platforms.

Emiliano Cutolo
Software Developer

Emiliano joined Mediate srl as Software developer with key expertise in GUI (Graphical User Interface) and HMI (Human Machine Interface) design, as well as firmware implementation for microcontrollers and control of industrial and collaborative robots. He ensures intuitive and high-performing solutions that enhance interaction between users and machines.
